VMware vSphere: Design [V7]

Duration: 3 Days (24 Hours)

VMware vSphere: Design [V7] Course Overview:

VMware vSphere Design [V7] course is designed to provide attendees with the critical information needed to successfully design and implement a virtual infrastructure using the VMware vSphere virtualization platform. Core topics covered in the course include:
• Overview of vSphere features and architecture
• Overview of vSphere components
• Preparing a vSphere environment for design and optimization
• Deployment of vCenter Server and ESXi Infrastructure
• Review of vSphere resources
• High availability and scalability
• Design of storage and networking
• Virtual machines
• Automation and orchestration
• vCenter server appliances
• Design considerations
• Design best practices
The course is suitable for IT professionals and system administrators who want to learn the skills necessary to create and maintain a virtualized environment using vSphere. It is also an ideal refresher for experienced administrators and engineers who are more familiar with vSphere. After completing the course, attendees should have an understanding of the basic principles and concepts of vSphere, its architecture, and how to design a vSphere datacenter.

Target Audience

VMware vSphere Design [V7] training is specifically intended for Technical Solutions Architects, System Engineers, Implementation Specialists, and IT Operators who want to gain the skills needed to design and scale a vSphere virtualized environment
This training is for those who need to plan, customize, deploy and manage an effective virtual infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures
Participants in this course should have a strong understanding of virtual infrastructure technologies and VMware vSphere components, as well as an understanding of networking and storage
Additionally, some knowledge of operating system internals, server hardware, security and basic Linux is recommended
In this comprehensive program, learners will explore the objectives of virtualization and its potential impact on a business, examine vSphere components and features, gain a deep understanding of virtual infrastructure design, and deploy vSphere
By the end of the course, participants will be able to design and scale an effective vSphere solution for their organization

Learning Objectives of VMware vSphere: Design [V7]

This VMware vSphere: Design [V7] Training course provides attendees with knowledge to successfully implement and configure a vSphere 7 environment. Attendees will learn how to select, deploy and configure vSphere 7 virtual networking, storage and compute components, and how to use policy-based and distributed resource scheduling. The course will also provide best practices for access control, encryption, vSphere monitoring and patching. Furthermore, attendees will understand how to design and set up a vSphere 7 environment to support the deployment of workloads, such as, database and application servers, web servers and desktop virtualization. By the end of the training, attendees will have knowledge and skills required for effective vSphere design and operations.
